Join our chapter
The national office of the Autism Society will implement a national unified membership plan in January 2010. Given the timetable for this change, we elected to postpone our annual membership drive, which usually takes place in August. In January, members will pay one price and receive membership in both our chapter and the national Autism Society. The annual membership fee will continue to help fund our programs, including our monthly support meetings, our online and printed resources, our special events, and the materials for our lending library. Additionally, our members will have access to the resources of our national office and will receive a subscription to the Autism Advocate magazine. None of our current members needs to take action at this time; closer to January, you will receive correspondence from the national office about how to proceed.
